Old Hollywood Glamour

My new jacket (I am continuing to play with the possible combinations) reminds me of old Hollywood films. Bomber style the jacket evokes to me the glamour of aviator films (not the Aviator) and other various black and white favorites of mine.

So, here's the movie pick of the month: The Women. An absolute must-see with spectacular dialogue, an outstanding cast, and stunning wardrobe. Watch it enthralled and you won't even notice that there is never a man on camera... Adding to the drama on camera is the off-camera reality of two opposing stars; Norma Shearer's career was beginning to dwindle and Joan Crawford was rising into her stardom. Drama between stars behind the cameras is not a new phenomenon.
