Today is sweltering hot and all I want to do is lounge outside barefoot soaking up the sunshine. Everyone seems petrified that I will burn as friends, family, and coworkers urge sunscreen on me. The slimy weight of it on my skin is oppressive though and I resist. "I'm not burnt, just flushed," I insist as my skin turns pink. A shaded area should put their minds at rest. I'm not some fragile porcelain figurine although my dress might lead you to believe otherwise. If I burn, I'll heal.
Outfit details: dress- vintage via eBay (shortened by me)
