Vogue Riots creates some of the most lovely gifs I've ever seen. They are quite mesmerizing, although an entire page of the moving pictures does strain the eyes! There's even a tutorial on the site to guide you in making your own.

It's an over-used phrase, but for Ali Lovell her enthusiasm really is infectious. This is by far my favorite StyleLikeU-er as much for her attitude and descriptions as for the outfits themselves. She wants (and succeeds) in projecting a romantic, cinematic quality; her outfits capture the sense of living in a movie. Even as she describes a fur hat she inherited from her grandmother her story transitions into a scene from a movie where the heroine is at a train station running after the love of her life. It's a beautiful vision and really reflects that idea of dressing in a way that inspires you and reflects your yearnings, visions, and passions...
I wrote about "a year in evenings" ages ago (years ago!); it was a project between two women living thousands of miles apart and visually combining their worlds through daily photographs. Since then two bloggers I quite admire have engaged in the same enterprise: Ana of On Dressing Up and Diana of Our City Lights. These two are living 6,768 miles apart, but connect every week by laying their photographs side by side. It's wonderful to see the similarities (like color schemes or shapes) and differences these pairings showcase. The romanticism in such a project is so appealing to me; I do hope someday I will find the perfect partner for a similar adventure.
The blog A Collection A Day features exactly what the title would imply: one collection every day. It's a project in documentation; most collections are photographed, but some are drawn or painted and they are faithfully posted every single day. From emerald leaves to vintage deer the artful attention paid to each set's arrangement catches the eye. For the holiday season Lisa Congdon has been featuring some of her Christmas collections and they're too pretty not to share.
Every time I'm feeling a little uninspired, I take a little virtual trip through Agathe's archives. She stopped blogging in April of 2008, but she was one of my biggest inspirations before I started my own blog and I still love her outfits now. Especially in the fall I return to her images since she was a master of layers and interesting mixes.
