It is a rather striking phenomenon that half of the world lives in summer as others endure winter. We exist in opposite realms, experience polar worlds.
Am I alone in thinking there is a striking similarity between an expanse of snow and one of sand? I suppose the differences in backdrop become more stark when one is experiencing it firsthand...
