I hope everyone is enjoying their last day of 2010 and looking forward to what this next year will bring!
The Past Is For Inspiration, Not Imitation
The Demise Of A Decent Cup Of Tea
I am not a tea drinker, but I wouldn't say no to these delightful prints by Catherine Campbell. The mix of colors, patterns, and melancholy girls are just too lovely.

Winter Dream Or Winter Scream?
As you can see there is still some determined snow clinging to the rocks and sand down by the ocean. With strong wind and grey skies sometimes it seems as if winter holds us in a vice-like grip and will never abate...I'm being dramatic, but I'm a warm weather person. It's far too early to be contemplating, but I'm already eagerly envisioning summer nights spent lying in the parade field looking at the stars. Instead, for now I'm watching the snow slowly melt and bundling myself up.
Poor Spectres Of The Perished Summer
The more snow and ice that appears in my area, the more I long for summer. These lovely, idyllic photographs are certainly not helping my to accept my current situation. Flowing dresses, floral crowns, and vintage bicycles? Yes, please.

So Comes Snow After Fire
I always forget how bright things can get in the winter; especially when the ground is covered in a blanket of pure snow. Wearing my glasses instead of sunglasses was not a well thought-out plan, but somedays I just can't be bothered with contacts. I actually need to start purchasing more eyeglasses so I can change them as frequently as I change my shoes...or so I can at least have more than one pair!
