I've really been enjoying some of the childhood pictures people I follow have been posting, so I decided to post some of my own. Is it wrong that I wish I still fit into a lot of the clothes that I had when I was little? If you're wondering which one is me: I'm always the shortest one. Judging from the images I apparently didn't know how to smile properly until I was around eight...And since people ask this a lot: my hair was blonde when I was little and it just gradually got darker as I got older.

Winged Insects and Honey-Gatherers Of The Mind
My glasses are making a rare blog appearance and my butterfly dress is making a less rare appearance. I've worn this dress so many times and I'm still not bored with it. It would be nice to find some more dresses with interesting prints; specifically a collection of insect printed clothes would be rather awesome. Also, how geek chic would an anatomically correct insect print be paired with my eyeglasses?
Here's a few of the different ways I've worn this dress in the past.
Twisted Braids Of Lilies Knitting
It is mildly amusing how many of my outfits are autumn appropriate lately. Aren't these booties meant for stomping through crunchy, brown leaves? Perhaps my wardrobe is beginning to reflect my excitement for fall. Usually I dread the end of summer, but as I start to make plans this time around it seems like some fun things will be happening. No details yet because things aren't cemented and it's more exciting when you're surprised...
Detail Of The Week: Rings and Rings
Awhile ago, someone suggested I do a jewelry post. However, my jewelry is rather scattered and random and revealing even just my favorite pieces seemed daunting, so it took awhile to even get to the point of doing this ring post. So, here's my version of a "jewelry" post featuring my favorite rings dancing around a bit.

Casual Wednesday
This is my idea of a casual (or lazy, if you will) outfit; a basic color palette and boxy clothes.
If All The World Were Windswept
How fitting are so many of the editorials from last fall for this spring?

In A Garden Of Whimsy
Initially, I was going to dress to match my lovely fae wreath (tangent on how much I love the word fae); something flowy and summery. However, since it isn't summer yet and I still have to have a good jacket on hand to step outdoors, I decided a sharper silhouette and darker palette could be a nice contrast to the crown. Another beautiful contrast is the surrealist setting of this concrete staircase in the middle of nowhere. It must have belonged to house once, but the foundations aren't even remotely visible. Now the stairs stand alone amongst the piling leaves and growing green things.
