"I do not know what I may appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have been only a boy playing on the sea-shore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me." -Isaac Newton

Paint Me A House Where We Both Can Live
These beautifully painted apartment buildings in Russia prove that city living doesn't have to be an eyesore. I'm especially partial to the gaudy red sailboat adrift on azure seas.
Living On The Edge
In this season of wildflowers every week Summer seems to present a new colorful skirt at my favorite fields. Lurking beneath the colorful trimming is something slightly more sinister though; these fields are on the edge of the military installation I dwell on. They are used for shooting and some areas hide undetonated explosives; many of the places I would most like to photograph are unsafe and marked with warning signs. Still, there are the areas of buffer zones where you will find me wandering with a camera in hand and sunshine shining in my eyes...
Beautiful Dischord
The blog Jak and Jil feeds the fashion frenzied obsession with wild and wonderful shoes on a near-daily basis. I however, am much more entranced by this picture snapped a few months back. The riot of colors and patterns is just so perfectly balanced and at serene dischord with eachother. I'd like to print it out poster-size and hang it on my wall...
Golden Vambraces
When I saw these shiny, silver bangles on Le Blog de Betty I was immediately enthralled. I couldn't get images of Wonder Woman out of my head and wondered if they came in gold. They did and they were Marc Jacobs. I was prepared to place the bangles on my "covet but can't purchase" list when I decided to attempt a little eBay stalking of the glossy beauties. A short hunt and a few days later and I am a happy girl indeed. They might be veering into the ridiculously large range and require constant vigil to keep on my wrists, but they still posses the power to make me feel like a superheroine.

I recently fell for the endearing tale of My Milk Toof. It depicts the adventures of a little tooth that was taken at childhood and replaced with a quarter (rather like a changeling), but has now returned to its original owner. Now Nasha's life seems pale in comparison. Ickle (Milk Toof #1) even has a new friend named Lardee. What hijinks's will these two get themselves into next?
